# Choose the right access settings

Destination access settings are crucial for the **visitor experience** and the **analytics** you can track. Set them in the Destination template to ensure consistent use.

**Further settings:**

-   Require email confirmation: Sends a verification code to confirm the email
-   Secure by password: Protects the Destination with a password
-   Set expiration date: Makes the Destination link inaccessible after a set date
